Conference was organized within the project “Supported Vocational Services for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities”. Project was supported by the European Union within the IPA component IV: Human Resources Development, Grant Scheme – Fostering effective inclusion of people with disabilities into the labour market EuropeAid/129157/M/ACT/HR.

Project aims to increase the employability of people with intellectual disabilities in Bjelovar, Osijek and Sibenik in the open labour market and provide access to meaningful work activities for those individuals who are unable to engage in work activities into the regular work environment.

Project results will be presented on the conference, participants will be informed about the capabilities and work potential of people with intellectual disabilities, and discussion will be held with representatives of various stakeholders in order to enable exchange of positive experiences on the position of people with disabilities in the labour market. Also, various handicrafts made by people with intellectual disabilities from three towns will be presented.

Conference will be held on the 23rd November 2011. Zagreb in the Four Points by Sheraton Panorama Hotel Zagreb, starting at 10:00.
