Supported Vocational activities

Many people with intellectual disabilities are willing and capable to work in the open labor market. Working in the community is an important factor in the social inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities.

API finds jobs for people in the open labor market and provides Job Coaches to support people at their workplace. People with intellectual disabilities are successful in performing various work activities such as: labeling, sorting and packing of products intended for sale, cleaning and maintenance, restocking shelves, and many other work tasks.
People with intellectual disabilities get the financial reward for their work which enables them to participate in settling life expenses or create the preconditions for independent life outside their families.

The supported employment program is active in Zagreb, Bjelovar, Slavonski Brod, Osijek and Šibenik.
