‘Week of Associations’ has started yesterday at Park Zrinjevac in Zagreb. It was officially opened by the Mayor, Milan Bandić.
‘We organised Week of Associations for the 15. time. The cooperation of civil society and City Administration is a prerequisite for the openness and democracy of our city. Zagreb is among the open and socially sensitive cities in Europe and the world. Approximately 200 organizations will be presented here this week.”- said Milan Bandic.
‘Week of Associations’ will be open until May 29th, every day from 10AM to 4PM. In addition to a rich program that will take place in the Pavilion at Zrinjevac, many visitors will be able to learn about the work and functioning of various associations operating in the the City of Zagreb.
‘Week of Associations’ is organized 15th year in a row to give a chance to the employees and volunteers of associations to present their work. In this way we also present the means allocated to the associations through various projects and programs.’- said Visnja Fortuna, head of the City Office for Social Protection and Persons with Disabilities.
