The service of Supported Vocational Activities assists people with intellectual disabilities in finding and maintaining work activities in the open labor market.
With the support of Job Coaches who are present in a workplace, people with intellectual disabilities successfully perform various work related tasks:
- cleaning and maintenance
- labeling products
- stocking shelves
- sorting and packing articles in a store
- different assisting tasks
By engaging people with intellectual disabilities the employer gains:
- diligent workers
- workers who are rarely on sick leave because of their high motivation
- at the workplace support fro a Job Coach free of charge
- state approved incentives and benefits related to the employment of people with disabilities
- social responsibility as an employer
API signs a Cooperation agreement as a basic agreement with employers as well as a Contract on the Vocational Activities for each person engaged in work activities.
By including people with disabilities in their workforce companies show their social responsibility. At the same time the company can also realize different tax benefits.
